Burn fuel, not cash

Big Energy Saving Week is a government funded initiative spearheaded by Citizens Advice and the Energy Saving Trust. Each year, this partnership runs a campaign to encourage the good people of Britain to switch their energy suppliers and save money on their energy bills. For the third year running, we were asked to develop the campaign creative and communications.

Friendly talking fridges

The campaign builds on our creative for last year’s successful Big Energy Saving Week. Our personified appliances were back by popular demand – and this time many of them were animated for added impact. Once again, the characters were playful while the messaging had a dash of wit and a big dollop of helpful accessibility.

A chance to win big

Beyond the social assets, we also developed a simple Facebook quiz offering consumers the chance to win £1,500 towards their energy bill. Last year over 5,000 people took part.
